Wavy Bar Keumboo Dangle Earrings
For these earrings, I have combined the techniques used in the striped wavy bar earrings with the Keum-boo process creating a unique look in textured, oxidized sterling silver and 24K gold. Keum-boo is an ancient Korean gilding technique achieved by bringing the fine silver to the surface of the metal, then gold foil is applied with heat and pressure to produce a permanent bond. The mixed metal look continues in the gold and oxidized silver jump rings connecting the post to the dangle. These earrings have great movement and are light on the ear. They come with a sterling silver wingback that will keep your earrings secure and in place. They hang 1 3/4 inches from the earlobe. Original design and handmade in my home studio.
