Members Show

I’ve been a member at the NJ Visual Arts Center in Summit NJ for the past 15 years where I learned to make Art Jewelry in metal smithing and wax carving classes. I also served for three years on the Members Committee helping to choose the shows at our beautiful center. I am so lucky to have such a fantastic community center for art just ten minutes from my home and I love going there!

This week is the Members Show where artists from the community display their work in the galleries. I am pleased that I was able to participate this year and a selection of my Crinkled Spiral Collection is on display in the main gallery until June 8th. If you are in the area check it out and you can see so much wonderful homegrown art on display in so many mediums.

I call the NJVAC my arts home because I’ve learned so much there to use in my home studio. I love to participate in classes, workshops, shows and street fairs run by NJVAC and enjoy the community of artists so much. If you are in the area I highly recommend taking a class there, you never know where it will take you.
